Yeah wrist curls, reverse curls, and it's like a forearm roll. Theres like a stick with a rope hanging down from the middle, on the rope you attach a weight, after doing so you take the stick and turn it so you roll the string up and around it. Do not move your arms though, elbows locked and out straight.

      1) Fill a bucket with sand, stick your fist in, then open and close your fist. (good incase you don't have a fire burning in front of you this summer)

      2) Do finger pushups

      3) Close grip pushups with your elbows in (for the blade part of your forearm

      4) ONLY if you want to toughen up your fingers quick, but its REAL freakin hard- take two sticks (picture a broom stick in half), get in pushup position- then clinch your fist around one of them, then position your fingers on top of the other one, so your fingers are wedged in between the sticks, then do some pushups. So you are doing close fisted pushups with the stick in your hand- ON TOP of another stick.

Hurts like hell but will toughen up your fingers instantly.

The thumb is tough because of the joint. I would do #1 for that.
