    broken nose

I broke the septum in my nose. Has anyone had any experience with this, and can it cause any future problems that I should deal with now? Doctors around here say there is nothing they can do, but I've heard other people have had complications from it.

    is the septum the middle?
if so mine is broke, its shifted
im not gonna get it fixed now while im still boxing
maybe after my career as long as it doesnt interfere wit my breathing
then i'd get it done sooner
i invested in a facesaver headgear

You can get it casterized to stop the bleeding.

Cauterized, and that won't do anything for a deviated septum. I went to an ENT doctor because my septum does effect my breathing. He told me it requires reconstructive surgery, and not to get it done until after I'm done with boxing.

I saw a doctor but said there's nothing they can do, but I've heard some bad stories about it. It isn't affecting my breathing now and the blood has stopped. I don't care as long as it doesn't cause long term problems.

i dont think you can break your septum, its called a deviated septum where you breathing holes are not straight.......if it affects your breathing get a prescription for some pills and a spray each morning for your nose....
