  • Heavybag training

Hello all,I'm trying to get back into shape after 2 yrs of binge drinking and drugs. I'm 5'7 208lbs,would like to get back down to 160lbs. So last Tuesday I started putting in 1hr of work on my heavy bag.and some jump roping, everyday.

Do you guys think i can hit my goal, if I keep this up everyday ?Is it OK,to do this everyday? Or do my muscles need a break?

I have a pretty normal diet, and don't have any weights to workout with.

Im sure you can get down to 160 eventualy. But, it is important to change your diet to low fat and low calorie. Eat lots of meat and fruit and vegetable. Also incorporate some running in your routine. Start with a mile and build up when your comfortable.
Can you keep it up everyday? It depends on hiw hard your training for the hour and your level of physical fittness. A good rule imo is dont train if you are sore. Your muscles need time to heal.
