    Gyms in Los Angeles

I just moved to LA this past week and dont want to interrupt my training too much. Anybody know of any good gyms in LA?

I drove around looking for some that I googled but they all shut down.

I'm coming up from SD - Undisputed gym.

    Thanks in advance.

wild card gym, up in Hollywood.

20$ a month if you train to fight amateur, pro, exhibitions, whatever.

Plus you get to hang out with all those pros.

I wish I lived in SD, I would love it, why you move to ****ty LA?

My friend went to California last month and he trained at Wild Card when he was there. He said it was nothing special at all, the same as any other gym. I guess he was working with Roach's brother he said.

He also said he seen Rey Bautista get his as$ kicked in sparring real bad lol.

I dint say anything special about it.

However there are lots of trainers there from what I've heard.

I like the gym I go to currently. Everything a boxer needs to complete his training. http://www.knockoutoxnard.com/

Moved to LA for grad school at USC....yeah, so far I prefer SD. The traffic here is garbage.

Visited Wild Card and Justin Fortune's gym in Hollywood.

I might go with Justin Fortunes gym b/c I've heard the same about Wild Card....they get alotta people based on the name. Freddie was in the ring training and Steve Kim was there with some dude on the camera filming.

Seems to me Fortunes is more hardcore...plus they have the things i'm looking for...sledgehammers, tires, ropes, sandbag workouts, etc.

          Fortunes $65/mo. WC is $50.

Wild Card is cool but its tiny and its CROWDED AS ***, La brea Boxing Club on Wilshire/La Brea is better imo.

Then there's the Montebello PAL gym which i haven't been to but hear good things about and Maywood Boxing Club which is also a great gym.
