    The Long Range Hook

    just interested in how everyone executes a long range hook when required. Video would be appreciated.

    Floyd Patterson used to do them, heres one way (there are probably better examples where he does it but the is the first I found)

        Good way to protect yourself is throw it after a jab with the same hand. Jab, then hook making sure you keep the right hand up by your chin. Bend you knees because most people have a bad habit of coming "up" on hooks, extending their knees for power and exposing their chins.

          Heres a great video. Not all are long range left hooks but there's plenty. I also loved the windmill left hook the king dropped miranda with
