i need help with thinking in the ring and doing what im taught

    the only thing that will make you more relaxed in the ring is sparring more often.

    first few times I sparred I'd go nuts in a bloodlust rage when I ate a good shot and expend all my energy in the first or second round. think of it like, you gotta learn to control the animal within yourself.

      Shadow box, try and imagine what type of punch the person would throw and make the necessary reactions and such.

      Also do mit work, and if you can get somebody at the gym to throw in slow motion certain punches work on dealing with them, then once you get the hang of it speed it up.

      After a lot of practise your reaction in the ring will be better as a lot of your problems is unfamiliarity.

      This is something hard for me to explain actually, simply it's practise and focus.
