Get a pair of Cleto Reyes and be done with it. Or the knockoff's are pretty good too. You'll spend about 100 for the reyes or 50 for the knockoffs.

YOu know what are the best gloves? any gloves god damnit. Back in my day we would just wrap our fists with a long strip of oiled oxen leather. If you were lucky you could get hand me down gloves that had to be re-stuffed with horse hair.
Nowadays you hokey pokey namby pamby ***** boys need pretty ergonomic fancy nancy gloves.
And you know why you have weak wrists?
Its because you are limp wristed SOBs. Start boxing and quit looking in the mirror to see how pretty you are, or how you can "accesorize" or "personalize" your "look".
Too many f´ken victims of the X generation marketing bull****.

Chill out Mickey, boxing has evolved, training has evolved and gear has evolved. It has nothing to do with look, it's all about protection and efficiency.

In today's boxing world you can punch a bag full of rocks with some ****ing mummy wrappings around your hands if you want but it doesn't make you oldschool or hardcore, it just makes you ****ing ******.

        Welcome to 2009.

Well Sonny Jim. toughness hasn´t evolved and wont ever go out of fashion. You wanna box, box. Use the smelly, old gym gloves, run barefoot if you have to. Hell I used to train in a Potato sack with holes cutout for arms and legs because I had no gym clothes, thats why they call me potatoes. Boxing is raw, its tough, in old school gyms you still find boxers working out in old trackpants and work footwear.
You dont find much spandex in the best boxing gyms.

This is where i agree with potatoes, why would you spend a fortune on training gear if you're never going to go anywhere with boxing? If you're pro, sure, get the winning. But if you just flail at the bag and get the winning you're just trying to be flashy at the gym. But being flashy won't keep you from getting a beatdown.

And why would you ever suggest Cleto reyes to a guy who is looking for training gloves? Cleto reyes make good fighting glove cause they are hard as hell, they are a puncher's glove. But for training cleto reyes are probably the worst gloves out there, they offer the least protection, even worst than everlast.

                  You obviously don't know ****.

WTF is your problem man. You don't know **** about me. I've used both. I have money for winning training gloves and I like them so I bought them. You gotta problem? *******?
And the Reyes training gloves are also good but much cheaper.

I like quality. Both offer quality.
I don't use them show off jackass. I just like protecting my hands.

                    Oh and p.s.

                    Go *** yourself.

                    Jackass.

I say why not spend 300 bucks on a pair of gloves that will last you 10-20 years without fail, guaranteed? Instead of spending 30-60 bucks every year to replace your old cheap gloves that dont offer much protection, dont look nice, and dont smell good? Which all will add up over 300 bucks with time.

Personally I have nimble hands. I wont say fragile because of my martial arts training(click here for example). I still like to protect them though with some extremely high quality gloves.

Also, @potatos. I wouldn't train with a potato bag on. I would just train with no shirt. And personally I like the under armour clothing. Wear ****in spandex all day when I train. Feels good and feels like you wearin nothing at all.
