  • What gloves should I get help a Mexican out...

Ok here's the deal. I have some nice pair of gloves that I use for sparring. I have another pair I use for training, they are old school Everlast that are all but done. They are falling apart, litteraly.

So I need some gloves for hitting the bag, mitts and double end bag. I don't want to spend a ton of money but I don't want something cheap that will fall apart either.

Recommend me some gloves please since you guys seem to know so much about equipment. I'm a little old school so I don't know what gloves are the best for this purpose.

I'm also thinking what weight I should go with. 12,14 or 16oz. I think either 12 or 14 personally.

Well I don't want to spend over $100 , I was thinking somewhere about $40-$60 bucks around there.

Like I said I have real nice gloves for sparring but my old gloves I use for training are literally falling apart and smell like death...lol.

Check out the Platinum training gloves (http://store.titleboxing.com/platinu...ng-gloves.html)

They're excellent for mitt work, double end bag and light heavy bag training and are made of leather so they'll last a long time. They are a great deal and out perform most gloves in their price range. The discount gets them down to $55.00 too

          get these my man

you cant go wrong with a pair of ringside training gloves. I had a pair myself once, and they always protected my hand. They are affordable, last, and can take good punishment. They are second to winning in my opinion.

                    I have those!

My first pair of gloves, great leather, great padding, you might need someone to slip em on if you take em off during training because they have an elastic closure thing. Also the curve of the glove kinda annoys me, it doesn't allow you to make a full fist, however its great glove.
