the roy jones jr. shoes? i've had them for over a year. love them. i want to get another pair as soon as i get some more paychecks coming in (one for training and a pair for fighting. gotta keep that white clean.) by far the sharpest looking shoes out there.
they're not that heavy, but the soles are much thicker than traditional boxing and wrestling shoes. what else do you want to know?

How flexible are they? I am a featherweight and an outfighter so on my toes a lot of the time are they good for that? They comfy? Do they offer good protection for the ankles they look real sturdy.
Look awesome I'm after getting the white and gold ones from title.

Thanks.
very comfortable, very stable. just the right amount of flexibility in my opinion. you definitely won't roll your ankle in these, but you won't feel like you have a cast on your foot. like i said, they're heavier than traditional boxing shoes and the soles are thicker, though i definitely wouldn't call them heavy. i don't know what kind of impact that would have on an out-fighter, man. i've never had a problem moving around the ring in them.
i'm not a shoe salesman. i can just tell you they've worked great for me.
the roy jones boxing shoes are trash!! they are stiff, you cannot move around the ring without your feet killing you. try the low pro jordans, now those are featherweight you can move around perfectly as if you are not wearing anything at all.
whoever tells you the roy jones jordan shoes are so great must have never worn a pair in their lives, they are to stiff i've had mine for 1 year and still have not gotten any softer, plus they are heavy!

Different people, different feet, different needs. I've had mine for over a year and I love the way they've broken in, though I didn't think they were particularly stiff (or heavy) when I got them. I like them better than traditional boxing shoes.
Like I said, I love them and they've worked great for me. I'm not recommending them or telling you not to get them. That's not my job, and I don't care one way or the other. I'm just saying they're good for me.
