most mexicans are have big stamina naturally because most their cities are from very high altitude... take mexico city alone its 7000+ above sea, people there have gotten used to living in thin air with less oxygen.
I agree with working on condition training, running sprints, doing 10-15 minutes of aerobic warm up before working out and practicing your breathing when working on the heavy bag while wearing your mouth piece. Also, exhale and tighten your abs when receiving body shoots. This will help you and you should start seeing improvement within weeks.
you know working on the heavy bag simultaneously works.
I mean punching the bag with volume (speed and power)
i'd say for 40-60 minutes. Even though it isn't the professional way of using the bag, it helps muscle endurance, which is a start.
Running helps to. If you want a killer stamina workout. Wear a face mask that covers your mouth and run a long distance with a slow-medium jogging pace, and try to breathe through the mouth mask.
I've tried these methods especially in colder climates (Canada), and my asthma has never affected me during training as much as it used to.
interval sprints during the last 30sec of each round, on a 1 to 4 mile run depending on your current shape. Begin sprinting from a jog position periodically amidst a round to promote the same needs your lungs would want in a boxing ring.
get home, do burpees
drag your tired ass back outside and run sprints down your driveway
