How do I effectively use a striking bag

I just purchased a striking bag the other day and I'm curious as to how I should be using it. In case it is often referred to as something else, I have posted a pic below.

    any help would be appreciated

doubleend bag. Its for timing. use it for timing jabs and combos along with not forgetting to silp after a combo because if you throw a 2 with decent power and you dont slip itll come back and smash you in the face. starting out just practice getting the jab timing down. jab, double jab, triple jab while circling to your weak side. jab straight slip to your power side. jab straight lead hook then triple jab circling to your power side right after. that last one will really be something you have to get used to because when you hook itll be swaying in all sorts of directions so you gotta time your first jab correctly to get it going in a better direction to fire off your next 2 jabs.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I'll start with the jab routine and take it easy working on the timing. I have wanted to get one for a long time but I will ease into it.
