  • do i have a bad chin

my friend and i decided to sparr today, hes taller than me and weighs 164 almost 8 pounds more than i do and he is very athletic and has a much bigger frame

we decided to spar and since im the "boxer" i let him use my ufc gloves which are very thin while i used actual everlast boxing gloves..so after two minutes of sparring he landed a huge right hand flush on my nose and kocked me the **** out ....that was the first punch he landed..for 10 seconds after the punch i had no idea where the **** i didnt know where the **** i was..

does that mean i have no chin or was it ****** of me to let him use the ufc gloves????

Go look in your other thread about this. I think enough people have replied to it for you to understand.

***s sake, i am so sick of people coming on here asking if they have a glass chin

he could have been a naturally hard puncher, he could have just got you on the button etc

doesnt neccessarily mean you have a bad chin

Just because you got dropped doesn't mean you have a bad chin. Any good punch landed with the right timing can put you down. Even guys with iron chins like Margarito and Librardo Andrade have been knocked down. Just work on your defense and don't worry about it.

You guys aren't reading it all. His friend had UFC gloves on. It was bound to happen.

He just wanted to know if it was because of the gloves or if it was his chin.

Well it's hard to tell. We've never seen him spar with someone in 16oz gloves and there are a million different factors that could have played into him getting knocked out. But yes, UFC gloves have close to no padding so getting hit with one is considerably harder than a 10oz boxing glove.

lol, wat da heck u let him use mma gloves... lol use always the biggest gloves around when u sparr because as much as possible its about learning and not to u give yourself a beating.
