I'm trying to drop down to 180 from 225.
I'm not to concerned with percentages but as you can see i keep my protein intake high and my fat and carbs low and my training is very hard. I'm also naturally lean I remember being 5 years old and I had visible abs.

You gotta make up your mind what is more important to you, boxing or your physique. You are doing too much weight training. Save your energy for boxing and keep basic strength training to once or twice a week maximum.

      I mean
      "Barbell curls 3x12
      Hammer curls 3x12
      Concentration curls 3x12"

      wtf is that?

okey the first part makes zero sense. "easing into boxing style training"? wtf? if u are a runner who starts swimming, do u run in kneehigh water to "ease into the transition"?

u want to be a boxer, u need to do boxing training. u dont have to ease into anything, we are talking about skills right now. why do u have to easy your body into shadowboxing?

also this shadowboxing that u do, or bagwork or whatever. do u do it in a gym in fron of a trainer, or at home? cuz if u do it by yourself you are just creating bad habits.

i agree with this also. do u want to be a boxer or do u want big biceps? which one? u have a choice, put the weights down and be a BOXER doing BOXING training, or keep being a bodybuilder. right now u are not a boxer, this isnt a boxers training log. its a bodybuilder who thinks hes a tough guy cuz he has big muscles who posts his bodybuilding sessions and pretends to be a boxer. u only need 1 or two days a week to keep your strenght, u need hours and hours of developing your skills to become a boxer.

im not trying to bring u down in any way, but if u want to be a boxer right now u are wasting your time and your efforts with this regimen.

Obviously with the "wtf" attitude your ignorance is showing

Ask Evander Holyfield who trained with weights monday through friday under the guidance of 8 time Mr. Olympian champion bodybuilder Lee Haney.

Your primitive thinking is frankly annoyin, do some more research kid.

He was giving you constructive criticism that not many would give you on this forum. Once you progress in your boxing training, you will have to make a choice between strength training and boxing training. If your coach isn't foolish, he will tell you that about 70-80 % of your training will focus on boxing skills, and the rest will focus on strength.

Right now your training regime is a weightlifter's regime, with a little beginner's boxing training included in it.

Sounds a bit like you are afraid of losing your weightlifting gains by completing focusing on boxing, which I don't blame you for. You will still be ripped if you focus more on boxing, with the difference being that you will know how to put your muscles to good use.

Don't flip three ****s on people when they are trying to help you, as Assassin clearly was. No boxer will make their criticism sound "nice" or like something you want to hear. This is the hardest sport in the world and you have to be mentally prepared for the challenge and criticism.

Maybe you should reread his post again where he attacks me and disrespects me. If you're going to offer any sort of advice you better come at me respectfully otherwise **** U!

I'm doing 1 hour of specialty boxing training per day along with 3 miles jogging in the morning that right there is taking care of my skill development and cardio. Once I progress I will increase my "boxing skill specific" training to 2 hours a day, but its going to be a gradual increase.

And no I'm not "afraid" of losing anything I made it POINT BLANK clear in my first post in the first page of this thread I am going to get down in weight to around 170lbs.

He is asking you valid questions about why you are focusing more on strength training than boxing training when you clearly want to be a boxer. He is being frank and honest, which is something you shouldn't take for granted, and surely shouldn't see as disrespect. In fact, he said that he isn't trying to bring you down in any way at the end of his post.

Nobody is going to kiss your ass in this sport. You get out of it what you put into it. If you put 70% of your time and energy into strength training, and the rest into boxing, you will be punished by kids half your size but with 2x the boxing skills, and that's a fact.

It's good you're going to spend more time on boxing, but don't get angry at people when they try to tell you to do it sooner or later, for your own sake.

Regardless, I am not going to get involved in your **** with assassin and other posters. But since I've been on this site for a while now, I know that there are plenty of posters who could easily joke around on your thread, call you a 'musclehead ***', and give you NO constructive criticism whatsoever, so you should be thankful and humble for when you do get it on this site, because it doesn't always come that way.

In any case, good luck with your training.

I have coaches training me who have trained Floyd Patterson and coaches who train at Freddie Roaches Wildcard boxing gym coaches who have worked with Bernard Hopkins and Manny Pacqiuiao and some nobody on the internet saying I think i'm a tough guy cuz I have muscles or that I'm a wannabe is offering me advices riddled with disrespect.

Look I'm all for being upfront and blunt and not sugar coating anything but with the utmost respect. If you disrespect me I'll disrespect you back twice as much.

Don;t offer me advice riddled with disrespect offer me advice riddled with respect otherwise like I said earlier **** OFF
