  • Taking a break from boxing

    Im taking a break from boxing ive train now for 3months about 6 times every week. Im getting kinda tired. Im gonna take a break for about 2weeks or a maybe a month.

    My question is what should i do to avoid getting rusty when i come and box again?

    light sparring now and then and go to the gym like 2-3 times a week, to keep ur conditioning at par.

      Why not just cut back to a few days per week instead of stopping completely?

        coz i have still to pay same amount even if i just go once or twice a week.

          so? training 6 days a week will tire anyone.

            yes it is tiring, i have to go school all day 8am-5pm then i train in the afternoon 5-8pm.
            good thing if im just boxing and not doing anything else.

            Maybe ill just play some basketball while taking a break. i also have a punching bag at home.

              6 times a week is too much..... cut it to 4 maybe......or even 3

                Just relax and play basketball with your friends for a few weeks and you'll feel fresh and inspired when you go back to the boxing gym. Its easy to get burned out when you train 6 days a week.

                  well first of it depends if u are burned out, or just want to do other things kind of. bored and tired. if thats the case keep going. if u are really burned out take a break. keep running twice a week, keep doing your pushups and situps etc atleast every other day. just playing basketball now and then isnt gonna keep u in shape.
