Vitamins are fine and wont really hurt you other then making you spend money. if you are male make sure you take vitamins for men they shouldn't have any iron in them.

studys have been done and shown that most people dont need most vitamins with the exception of vitamin E. so its probably a waste of money if you eat correctly but if you think it helps it wont do you any harm.

why would it hurt unless your allergic to it. it is extremely difficult for anyone even with a nutritionist to get 100% daily vitamins and such out of just regular foods. basic multivitamins are great.

we cant get rid of iron as men its in out blood we would have to bleed oftenly in order to not build up to much iron in our system or donate blood oftenly.

most people have enough iron in their diet and you dont really want to be all the extra that is in multi vitamins on top of that. Women bleed monthly and need to replenish their iron.

Multivitimins for men dont have iron thats their diffrence so dont just go buy one a day or something like that look for version of a multivitamin for men gnc makes some good multivitamins for men sport version.

you might have better general health though if anything i felt like i didnt get quite as sore when i took them.

As long as you use vitamins as a supplement and not your main nutritional source it should be fine.

I take an iron suppliment perhaps once a week. Especially if I havn't had much in the way of red meat or green leafy veg in my diet.

No one wants to get anaemic, especially an athlete. You'll know when your body is a bit on the low side because your stools (dont laugh!!) will go a very light brown and you may feel a bit lack lustre.

i personally take opti-men by optimum nutrition but its up to you what you decide to use. performance wise i dont think you will see any immediate enhancement in your workouts. its mainly just for what your body naturally needs from day to day even though majority of people dont use or get it. You could probably google what each vitamin and such is used for in our body but thats also up to you to use up that time heh. i just take it and as long as im healthy then kudos to it. Stick to eatin good healthy foods and taking your multivitamin and you should be good. try not to over think it and just do what you gotta do.
