        You are right... well i think so anyway

        Body fat percentage for athletes is 10-12%...this is usually the level of which you can see a "6 pack"

              What does your diet look like?
              Especially since the lower ab portion is the stashing point of your overall bodyfat and water, you might have the water retention problem.

                  Sometimes, especially if your diet is lacking or has some overabundant nutrients your body will stash the water more easily then give it away and your body definition will suffer.
                  The key to getting six pack is and was always the right nutrition plan, but it is just damn too much time and effort to explain to you macro and micronutrients and what ratios of these you have to intake to lose the body fat and water.
