  • Ab work??

Just wondering what you guys recommend when it comes to ab work. On my strength training days I do one to two ab exercises within my strength routine (3 sets). Should I do more than that? What are some of the best ab work outs? I just need a basic, easy to follow routine that targets every area of my abs. There is so much info out there that it is hard to know what to do and how much to do??? Thanks in advance.

situps, leg lifts, sit ups (each side), russian twists and the plank could be a normal routine for me on any given day, i liek to switch things up though. would most likekely do 2 or 3 sets an finish up with the plank(not in sets).

i put my hands under my but and bend my knees then straighten them 50 times then i keep my hands their and do 50 leg raises then i do 50 twist sit ups making sure i get both shoulders off the ground and finally 50 full sit ups back all the way off the ground with my hands streached out above my head i have my knees bent and much as possiable and just sit up and touch my toes though its not hard to touch them since my knees are bent i then do 2 20 second ab strech where i lie on the ground and support my upper body with my arms or elbows and just puff up my chest and stetch my abs.

that would be like the sit ups would be the set and the stretching would be the rest. do about 14 sets like this a week.

they dont look like that because your body fat % isnt low enough for them to show through the thin if it is thin layer of fat covering them. do it roy jones style: 100 situps, 100 leg lifts, 100 crunches then repeat 4 times total.

Yeah youre right there. Im getting there. roy jones style sounds good. when you say leg lifts....what do u mean by that? is that when you lie on the floor and lift them up or when you are suspended in the air and pull your knees up to your chest?

                thanks for the help.
