3-1. Went 3-0 and last weekend lost a split decision with a guy who I supposedly had "no business being in the ring with".

The kid was a 132 fighter that won golden gloves in my area. I fight 119 and just didnt cut weight while he was cutting. The weight differance was 9 pounds and several inches for him. It was a coin toss. I guess I was unlucky that time. Its only going to make me stronger though.

My fight was suppose to be at 120, but without me knowing, they changed it to 125, the kid weighed in at 132, I weighed in at 122. 10 pound advantage, and as far as I know there can only be an 8 pound difference (right?). Also the kid had 7 fights, and this was my first, and the promoter had told us he had no fights. I'm just trying to get to a different gym because I train at a ****ty MMA gym down the street.

Yea man its ****. Acually at the smaller weights its only supposed to be 4 pounds. 8 for the higher weights. The kid I fought was well into open as he won the golden gloves. I was very upset after the fight but now I realise in my 4rth fight a SD against a top guy from two weights up on me is nothing to be upset about. Keep punching man, how did that fight go anyway?
