THANK YOU!
Thanks for the compliment. To answer your question, the glove should be snug, but not too tight where it's cutting off circulation. You should be able to make a fist easily with the glove. It's ok if your fingers are touching the end of the glove as long you don't feel like they're getting cramped up in the finger pocket. Also, I think most people's hands will move in the glove unless the hand is all the way in and fitted into "the grip." If your hand is moving in the glove as you hit the bag, the glove is probably too big. When punching the bag or mitts, your hand should stay in place.

Also, update on the gloves. I've been using them for 6 months now. They're still in great condition. Padding is still firm, not tears in the lining...stitching is still tight. Hook and loop is still in great condition. I've gone MANY rounds on the bag and the mitts with them.

My ONLY complaint with these is that the finger pocket doesn't air out that well, so although it dries overnight, it's gotten a little smelly. I take my gloves out of the bag and sit them in front of a fan for a little while to dry them out, but the finger pocket does not air out as well as other gloves and that has lead to a bit of a smell...not that bad and it would be expected in gloves that are used a lot, but just thought I'd mention it.

rival makes some good looking gloves that's for sure, I got a friend who owns a pair and they seem to be good gloves but imho nothing beats Reyes.

          Hi !

I'm planning to buy a pair of Rivals RB1 (Ultra) instead of the Elite that i was going to buy first but i think i have problems with the double velcro strap.
But what size do you guys recomend ? I think i got normal hands (i dont know if there is any way to messure the hand size?)

I am very curious about these Rival Intelishock gloves, as I like a small compact glove.

Anybody tried them or heard a review?

Is the 12oz recomended for normal hands when working on the heavy bag?
I think i will buy a pair, and also a pair of the High Performance Sparring gloves.

sound good , i have a pair of rival RS2V 16oz sparring gloves, deffinatly the best gloves ive ever used , i use them for everything at the moment , not just sparring , very comfortable gloves , especially with the double straps for wrist support , very highly reccomended for anyone willing to pay good money for some new gloves , around £80 in the UK

i recieved the rival catalogue with mine also , some quality gloves and equipment they have out at the moment. will deffinatly be ordering from them sometime for other stuff
