Their seems to be a common belief that weight training restricts your speed. (I use the term weight training loosly as the number of reps and percentage of your 1 max rep you lift can effect results greatly) Here is my situation im about 5ft 10 and weight 144-147 usually closer to 147,depending when i weight my self. I have to dehydrate down to 141 or would u reccamend weight training and gaining 8 or so lbs and fighting at welter. I am fairly thin so i think that my body would be stronger if i packed on a few lbs. Any advice welcome
