jumprope knots

  • jumprope knots

    as most of yall probably know, adding knots to your rope makes it feel heavier and our trainers have us sort of add more and more of them on as a badge of experience.

    as for myself, i added a few on each side but it started to feel kind of funny so i just went back to one on each...

    anybody do this in their respective gyms/area? and how many yall rockin?

    I thought the knots were for shorter people...

      not where im from...its to add resistance

      we got shorter ropes for shorter fighters...

        That's ******ed why not just skip faster or longer for more resistance or buy one that's weighted. All that knotting is just gonna damage your skip rope. And what if at one point you're so "good" that your knots are too much and your rope doesn't fit you?

          yo son, did u even TRY knotting your rope? thats what my trainer has us do and i trust the guy.
