hi im fighting tomoz
my trainer said hes a travler (gypsy) and hes gonna be coming forward throwin lots of punches trying to knock me out
hes shorter than me and i have a good reach advantage my plan is when he comes in is to jab and move for the 1st then 2nd see what he was like in the first and make adjusments maybe throwing the right hand when hes in range and when hes inside just clinch him
any tips ?

They all are. It is all they do. I have fought a few and they are fit as anything. Dirty little ****s but fit. All their lives they are training to fight pretty much no job or anything. He will try to just bully you about you gotta just stick your jab and make him look ****. Expect showboating too.

Well if p4pking is right and they are aggressive little bastards who throw alot just dont get dragged into his fight, keep it clean, box on your toes and stick him with the jab and long straight shots, and if you can pull it off check hooks will work well too, and spin out when he comes close, like if your orthodox spin you rear leg around 90 degrees i duno if you dont know what i mean dont try it

try and sling an uppercut in and then spin or move out when he comes close, clinch if you have too
and keep a tight defence, hands in tight and dont be too concerned about power, just box light and fast on your toes

so yeah mate ive sparred/fought short brawler type guys guys before, they are only good if you get drawn into a slugfest with them, just keep it clean you will be right
