  • feet sore, Is it normal?

Is it normal for your feet to start feeling sore after/during skipping, I have been getting them almost everytime I do skipping or anything that involves alot of moving around. I was doing 3 min rep x 4 sets Skipping rounds and during the 3rd and 4th set my feet starts feeling this pain on the side of my feet.

My guess is that I haven't had enough feet conditioning.

Or is it the shoes? I was wearing basketball shoes. Should I wear running shoes or basketball shoes if I only have those 2 to choose from (for skipping, sparring, and general conditioning(plyometrics))

Shoes dont matter. As long as they are comfortable and have enough padding for your feet.

Its normal to happen. Its called tired muscles. And before some dumbass says something about tired feet. YES, you can get tired feet. It can lead to foot stress fractures as well. Dont worry, just take a break from skipping rope, do something else instead.

I had the same thing a month ago. I rested for two weeks(only from skipping rope) and then my legs were good to go. I decided on two weeks, I dont know if that amount of time is required but thats what I decided on.

Better watch out for plantar facitits. It takes forever to heel. Do something else for a while and don't try and work through it whatever you do.
