got my winning gear and i didnt wanna make a new thread and make a mess so i'll just post here

got the ms-600-b and the fg-2900.. the headgear was good! i copped a couple hard shots in the face that would have made my nose piss out blood but the cheek protectors cushioned the impact alot! ofc i still felt the shots but yeh.. the ear guards are awesome!

the velcro gloves are great too.. snug, very good padding and wrist support.. but, how do i explain this lol.. u know the corner of ur hand right in between the start of the thumb and the index finger? well, that part of my hand rubbed on the same part of the glove like a mf'er! right on the inside of the knuckle of the thumb where the vein is.. while i was hitting the bag, doing push-ups, etc, my thumbs started to go numb coz the circulation kept getting cut off.. im only 5'6 so i got pretty small hands but damn i never had this problem..

did u guys have this problem even with the lace type? will the gloves just stretch out or break in eventually? i hope so coz i paid $285 for these bastards lol..!

that is why you get the pro gloves like normal people.

train and do push ups in some ****ty gloves, use your winning for sparring and bag if you have bad hands

I agree with I3C727. Use some other gloves for interval training. You know I had the same problem on the left hand thumb and my thumb was so messed up that my thumb was dislocated at the first joint. I had to ice it and snap it back and keep it taped up. I have the ms-400's in lace up and they're great. I don't know if this is a manufacture defect.

yes, i am guilty of doing push ups on $300 gloves lol! and they'r white too

but i thought the only difference between the lace and velcro type was just lace and velcro lol.. i got the velcros coz they would be alot easier and quicker to put on and tighten up.. rather than just slipping my hands through loose lace up gloves..

it actually was my left thumb that hurt more too ay.. i thought it was just coz i use my left hand on the bag and sparring heaps more but yeah.. there's nothing wrong with my hands, its just that part that rubs on the vein of my thumb.. but i'll use em abit more and see if they break in or watever.. pony boy hows ur thumb now? did the glove break in eventually?
