Depends whereabouts in W Yorks you are based? It is quite a big area to get around when it is rush hour mate! A 20 minute journey can become a 45minute one easy. there is a pro trainer in Dewsbury who is meant to be good, and you have Chris Aston up in Huddersfield who has trained several Commonwealth and British champions in the pro's. Both will have some provisions for the am's, guaranteed. For the am's purely check that eaba link above. I'm from Meanwood village which is around the corner from Headingley (studentsville) in Leeds and we got Sharkey's and Kelly's ABC down here. Both are good and very busey in the am scene. Ricky Manners (Carl Johanessons trainer) is on the other side of Leeds. Bradford use ot have some of the busiest gym's in the country several years ago but I heard it has gone to **** since Godfrey (Sedburgh ABC) and Pop Allen (Police Boys) retired and Bill Carris (Karmad ABC) died. I think the clubs are still open but they are joke without the same old experienced trainers and I don't see any of them at shows in leeds anymore. I see Maurice (First Sport ABC) at 2 shows a year, but his fighters are **** as he falls asleep after collecting subs and teaches 6'7'' fighters to walk forward and **** to the body and head! Cleckheaton are busy and go to alot of shows, and so do Desbury and Batley ABC. i hope all this info from competing in W Yorks helps you find a good club
