I'm trying to get into boxing a little bit and I was looking to purchase a punching bag for my home to try and get started a little bit, although I'm not quite sure what weight bag to use and what brand I can get the most **** for my buck from. I'm 15 years old 6' 2" and 200 pounds if that has anyhting to do with what weight bag to get. Sorry if I sound ****** making this post but I'm just looking for a little guidance lol. Any tips or "need to know" sort of things would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Okay i think he gets the point, he should get to a gym. However i do about 80 percent of my conditioning at home. When you find a gym you will notice that a trainner will pick you up and show you the basics but there are other fighters there. It is your reponsibility to train yourself inside and outside the gym. And do not get discouraged if when starting out you find that the trainers do not work with you everytime you go in. Just keep going in whenever you can and show independence and dedication. Trainers will work with a guy is is working the bags like a noob to correct and help him they will not help a guy that hits it like a pro but stands around 1/2 the time he is there.
