Semi pro is when you can't live of the wages so it isn't your full time proffession they pay you so it is basically getting paid a bit to fight with out the head gear and at pro level.

yeah, i definitely want to turn pro, plan on staying in the ams till 20 (5 more years) and then having a crack at the pro ranks
