    I'm so confused as to why I'm like this, but the fact is my body is toned, including my chest and my stomach (although it does have a bit of fat on it), but my arms remain really skinny. And working out my arms only makes my arms more skinny.

    Anyone else have the problem of really skinny arms but a toned body? And how can I build muscle on arms instead of other places.

    This is a good trait it means you have less arm mass weight so more speed as long as you have good technique behind the punch but if your just throwing your arm out there i can see why you might want bigger arms but if i were to answer your question i would recommend like heavy weight that you can only do 10 reps of do 4-6 sets 8 reps with a 10 second stretch 20 second rest inbetween each set make sure you fully extend your arm and get max ROM( Range Of Motion )figure out like 4 exersies that isolate the diffrent muscles in the arm you want to hit the forearms biceps and triceps. like bicep curls, dips, wrist curls, wrist extensions. but only do those one day a week with all the punching and everything else you use your arms for push ups pull ups benching grabbing cups from the top shelf everything works the arm but your used to it so adding isolation its enough to give it that boost but not so much that its too much and it just stays the same size

    If your tall because of leverage factors id reccomend doing one full curl then coming down half way and doing another curl because since your starting with you arm at the bottom the weight you can hold wont be as great as the weight you can hold at the half way point so your not working the half way point on as much as you could but by doing that half it all works out so its 1 and 1/2 but i count it as one rep

      ur just probably at a "wierd" looking body fat percentage for your amount of muscle mass. you probably think your body is toned bc that is where you carry all your fat, so it fills out a lot better than your arm.
      if you lose some fat your body wont look so full compared to your arms.
