As said before, lace ups are better because of the tight fit, only way to get around it is to wrestle to put them on. Having them that loose negates the point of having them. A few people at my gym have them, you can deff' see the tighter and more comfortable fit on them, they just look more professional when on. However, like said, unless you have someone to tie them for you, or even if you do, can be assed to get someone to constantly tie them for you, don't bother. It's a general rule of thumb that it's usually pretty ****** to get lace ups for training, too much hassle. I go to 3 gyms over the course of a year, all 3 require taking off and putting on of gloves at least twice.
