      Tabata intervals, start off with one, then increase to 4 with 1 or 2 min break between sets. That will give you insane stamina.

          Yup, I've done the same thing with running instead of burpees, Id run almost full tilt for the 30 seconds and shadowbox, I felt like hammered **** after one too lol. Basically if your a masochist your conditioning should be good :P
