You just gotta do your best to resist it, believe me I know how you feel I have broke under temptation and ate unhealthy foods before... we're all human.

stick to healthy foods, cottage cheese or milk is recommended before bed. meats would be good too. Absolutely no simple carbs like candy, chips ect.
Drinking some water or milk or a casein protein shake is a good idea if you find it hard to get to sleep on an empty stomach.
I get the cravings too, I actually will pig out more after Ive lost a few pounds because I feel leaner and more invincible if you will. If I have recently gained a few pounds, I will be feeling guilty and more strict on my diet.

Here is some info about casein protein: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcnJBm7436k
but i wouldnt take that unless you are going to workout first thing in the morning. Also watch how many grams of protein you take in a day. I usually go by 1 gram of protein per body weight.
I usually just eat a couple of oranges before bed. The Vitamin C helps me go to sleep faster and stay asleep.

I dont like to do the heavy bag in the morning cuz you really should eat something before you do any kind of exercise that deals w/ alot of muscles.
IMO you should drink a Whey protein shake(15g of protein) 35-45 mins before you lift weights and 25 grams of Whey protein IMMEDIATLY after you lift weights Then like 10 mins before you fall asleep drink 20 grams of Casein protein shake.Last edited by SOY-COMO-SOY; 03-31-2009, 07:43 PM.
