    Sparring with heavyweights

Don't ****ing do it if you weigh 140lbs like me. really bad idea.

I sparred a 190 before and ended up kicking his ass he was a chubby 190 it was easy.

So I saw a 230lb mma fighter he was built like crazy though and I was like his boxing skills can't be that great. To be honest he was holding back. he was slow though. But I couldn't even guard against him. It's like guarding against a truck. He hooked me I guarded and he knocked me right over. I got a bruise too.
I hit him with a right on his shoulder and somehow my elbow got sprained. Every time I hit me I felt like I was about to get knocked out. His jabs were unblockable they'd just just go through my puny hands and smack me in the head.

so if you're like me and you think your boxing skills can take on a heavyweight
don't do it. Take some advice from someone who just tried.

anyone else got any experiences like that they wanna share lol

oh and how can I treat my elbow I landed a right and now it feels kinda sprained and it hurts to bend my arms

Don't ever spar little guys if you're a heavyweight like me.
They keep looking to make a name for themselves by trying to KO the big guy.
If I fire back on them, I end up looking like the ****** and get yelled at by the coach.

Luckily, these days, almost everyone I spar with is my own size or bigger.

If your trainer let the larger, more powerful fighter spar you like that, then you might have problems.

people make way too much out of sparring bigger/smaller guys. it's not a big deal that you sparred a heavyweight. it's sparring. we've all done it. it's part of boxing.

            grown man ****.

well, my post was about 70% sarcasm, but yah, it do suck when someone's going for the KO and your coach yells at you any time you fire back trying to protect yourself - stinks being someone's heavybag.
