Boxers with Winky/Clottey type of defense

Hi. I'm from Mexico and as you all know, mexicans fighters are known for their lack of defense... the reason is simple, most of mexican trainers don't even really care about defense. So i want to learn and i wanted to know if some of you guys would tell me names of fighters that are known for having a tight defense sort of like Winky Wright or Joshua Clottey.

Thanks and sorry if i didn't wrote something correct, sometimes my english is confusing.

WBA middleweight champion, Felix Sturm, uses that tight defense style.

The best person to study for that style of defence is Marlon Starling. He was one of the first ones to use that style, and definitely the best ever at it.

Remember, it's more than just keeping your hands up. It's a lot more difficult than it looks.

Good call. Michael Watson was pretty good at it too. But Marlon Starling really had that style mastered.

Floyd Mayweather is another great defensive fighter, i wouldnt suggest doing everything he does but you can still take a couple of pages out of his book.
