b) Low fat product=will get you fatter.
The lack of fats automatically increase the GI and thus the nice deposit of belly fat.
He doesnt have to be going hard, aslong as he keeps his heart rate at a work rate of about 65% he's in the fat burning zone, eg aerobic training
and if hes going hard heil probally get a heart rate around 80% which is more fitness and less fat burning. i sure know when i swim i cant keep a low heart rate.
And low fat products wont get you fatter, its just they usually have more sugar and other preservatives, which is better because carbs burn quicker and provide energy more faster. try not to provide false information, it generally doesnt help.

By the way the past century (19th, not 20th) dietician found the meaning of glycemic index and glycemic load.
They actually found that a diet rich of carbs and poor of fat cause weight gain, and the reason is that fast absorbed carbs turn more easly in fat.
You have to eat fat and low GI carbs because fat automatically lower the GI, plus are the fuel of anaerobic exercise.
If you want I can link papers from Pubmed, could you please provide some reference too? I won't belive anything not write from someone with at least a PHD from a reputable college.

I know where your coming from, but where talking about people who are training 5-6days a week and sometimes twice a day, not just casual excersize
But i just realised hes only swimming and didnt mention anything about actual boxing so his food intake and what hes eating totally changes i guess.
btw your last post was alot more detailed, the other ones wernt half as detailed as that so i gotta give it you ya
