according to the conversion calc to lbs thats 115 to 105lbs. thats 10lbs. i lose about 5+lbs of water weight during a 20 minute workout. it wont be hard to lose that kind of weight at all. you should be able to lose that in a 30-60 min jog in a sweat suit, sweats, beanie.

Please do not try to lose 10 pounds of water weight and then fight a couple hours later. That's how people get hurt. Even if you are able to lose that weight in that amount of time, you will be totally drained, and you will be entering the fight badly dehydrated because you won't have enough time to replace the fluids you lost. It's not just about sweating out 10 pounds of water and then drinking 10 pounds of gatorade. Your body has to have time to absorb the water or you'll just piss it back out.
While it may be possible to lose 10 pounds in a week through dieting, totally emptying your bowls using epsom salts/xlax/psylium, dehydrating and starving yourself, you'll be in no shape to fight. It's simply not worth the risks to your health.
Boxing isn't like other sports where if you go into a competition tired and sluggish the other team may score more goals and you will lose the game. You go into a boxing match like that and you get knocked out.
Tell your coach you won't be able to lose the weight. Maybe he can find you another opponent for the same day at a different weight, or find you a fight a couple weeks later where you will have more time.

That sounds like good advice from Righthooker. You still may be able to lose a couple of kgs though so if it is not a some sort of title fight you may get the match up anyway. But it is true that your body cannot rehydrate properly in less than 24 hrs.

is it at a title or selection event? if it isnt chances are you will still fight anyway even if you dont lose all the weight, also depends on how much the other kid weighs
anyway ive never really had to cut weight either, just run heaps and diet strictly, and sweat plenty and it should come off

im in a similar situationt o do, heres what i do to make weight,
i have somthing to eat for breakfast really light like a banana and a apple, mabey a lil ceral, i then feel pretty much hungery throughtout the day, and i only eat when im really hungry and i eat lightly, i also drink much less, i drink water and dont drik gallons of it, that night i may go on a run ect....eventuly the weight begins to drop, some days i cheat though which is not good, after training you should lose 1-2kg in weight trough sweating, but ul soon put that back on
basicaly, eat and drink light and run ,
if you within 2kg of the other fighter then it will probably still go on/
