Looking For Some Advice (FL Kid)

Yo I need some advice. I've loved boxing since I was a child. My grandfather was a boxer and he taught me alot about the sweet science. I've always felt like I was a natural fighter, people in my hood always said I should take up boxing. I'm 19 years old, live in Perrine, FL. My question is, is it too late to start now? And what are some good boxing gyms down here in the Miami (closer to Homestead)? I used to go to live by South Florida Boxing gym in broward when I was in middle school but I never had the money to sign up. I'm about 5-9 1/2 and right now I'm about 180lbs (I want to get to around 152-160), and a 76" reach. What would be an ideal weight class for me?

of course it aint too late, just get down the gym and learn about the sweet science, dont worry about what weight class either, just start training and as you lose weight you will find the weight which suits you best.
