14oz or 16oz in sparring....

I use either 16 or 18, but lately i have been forced to use 18 cause some of my sparring partners complained, i don't want to brag but recently i have been dropping people in sparring a lot, i don't try to hurt people on purpose but i guess **** happens.
It's not a big deal for me, i don't see much of a difference between the 16oz and the 18oz honestly.

Some gloves have more padding in the larger gloves, others have the same amount of knuckle padding but have small ball bearing weights sewn into the seam to get the exact weight. Seems to defeat the purpose a bit.Originally posted by Equilibrium View PostI use either 16 or 18, but lately i have been forced to use 18 cause some of my sparring partners complained, i don't want to brag but recently i have been dropping people in sparring a lot, i don't try to hurt people on purpose but i guess **** happens.

Hey man I would stick to using the 12s for bagwork, thats too small for sparring ya old man face will get smashed up.Originally posted by Trrmo View PostWhat do they use in Cuba? The Ecuadorians seem to follow alot of the Cuban type of training so I thought that why they use 12s here. I was surprised when they told me to buy 12s and I sure felt the punches in the few times I have been able to spar. I also sometimes use them for bagwork as you can see in the following very short vid, feel free to crit
