Don't expect anything from me, i lost as well myself. First fcukin fight too. Weak sauce. GG was my opportunity to shine and i flopped it. I was expected to advance, but i flopped it. I was in the red corner and everything. Unfortunately, i didnt do what i was supposed to do.

Oh well, there's always next year.

I don't know which one is you but anyway first of all great fight! two skilled and well conditioned and closely matched boxers. Both you guys got lots of future potential. Thanks for posting the video.
I picked the guy in blue, the third round could have been either way but the guy in blue landed the cleaner, more obvious shots in the first two rounds. It was fairly close though. So... who was it that won? I would be surprised if I called it wrong here.

kid in the gold fights a lot like i used to. move forward, bob and weave, throw punches from all angles. good stuff, but not great for the amateurs. even though we (assuming that's you?) roll a lot of punches, block a lot with our gloves and don't take many flush shots, the judges still tend to hit the clicker for the other guy, especially if you end up chasing the guy. at least in my experience.

the bob and weave style is a great tool to have, but i've slowed it down in my last 3 fights. i still try to pressure, but i'm learning to wait for the right opportunities to use that style. learning to counter more and learning to be patient, which i know is tough in the ams because fights are so short.

kid in the blue looked pretty sharp. stood back, waited for the chances. got off, then moved and held when he had to. was able even to back the gold kid up in the last round. versatility is the key.

yep, logic says your in the gold, since the people with the camera are supporting the guy in the gold and you managed to get hold of the video.

I dont think you got robbed, i think blue landed the cleaner shots over the course of the bout, and the come forward, swarming style doesnt necessarily work great in the amatuers since the punches dont always land cleanly and you tend to walk into straight shots, even if you move your head quite a lot.

good bout though, really evenly matched, both decent little boxers. if i were you (i box nothing like you at all), i'd stand off a little more, keep some of the head movement and work on throwing something after your right hand rather than finishing every combo with the right.

I'm in now way a judge of who's the better fighter, but I must agree with what most of the folks before have said. The guy in the gold had great movement IMO and was pretty agressive but at the same time the punches didn't look as well landed as the guy in the blue. Good fight either way!

I have to agree that I would have given that one to Blue...

I didn't watch the vid in its entirety, but I did see the first round and half of the second. Based on that, I thought the blue won. He basically countered all day on the gold dude. The guy in gold sorta just followed him around and gold fighter's jab was more of a pawing jab. The blue fighter looked a lil sharper, and his timing was better.

The gold fighter wasn't so much a swarmer, but he looked way too careful when he was moving forward, the gold guy needs to be more assertive in his go forward style.
