                Not really ?

Street fighters may not be good boxers, though doesnt mean you can not become a good boxer. The individual must learn and pratcice the sweet science.

                End of story

Hahahah, WOW!! These videos are pretty funny... Well maybe the word is pathetic I can’t figure out who’s worse in this one. The aggressor just throws huge wind up rights and the guy defending is using the ref as a shield when he’s not skipping away! Hahahaha, seriously, they let these people in the ring!

There's actually a kid that works out in my gym that has similar..."form". He admittedly isn’t there to box, he actually wrestles but comes to work on his stamina / cardio and sometimes hits the bag. He wanted to spar last week and knowing that he doesn’t box, I offered to get in and go a few rounds with him (I just started 3 months ago so I thought it would be a decent match up). We touch gloves and move around a bit then out of no where he lunges at me (I mean he left his feet!) like he was trying to tackle me and punch at the same time. I got a bit nervous because he was so wild and I knew that if he just happened to hit me with a hay maker while jumping it would do a bit of damage. The trainer was telling him to calm down and get in his stance then throw a punch but he was all over the place. The first round ends and I’m at a loss, a friend of mine tells me that when I see him start to lunge at me, jab (I was more or less just moving out of the way the first round) then try a body shot. Second round starts off the same but I managed to land a jab here and there. He came at me again so I dipped to my right as his arm came over my shoulder, then I threw a solid right hook to his ribs, I put everything I had into it (I was scared honestly). He immediately bent over and went to the ropes, so the trainer who had probably predicted this outcome called off the round. It was very interesting to say the least. We started calling him “The Animal” after that because he was fighting like a wild animal. So yeah, in the ring there is a clear advantage to knowing what you’re doing and how to avoid punches and land punches. Sorry to ramble, this was just the first thing that popped into my head. Funny stuff!
