will I ever regain my power?

prior to this injury I was known to have a powerful right hand, my right hooks and straights have a lot of snap behind them.

what I did was while shadow boxing, I threw my right stright at a awkward angle while *****g a lot of power behind it. the next day my elbow location along with lower forearm region was very sore, it was hard for me to even fully extend.

now almost 2 weeks later im mostly healed, i can even throw right hands without snapping the punch, but thats the major problem.

I'm wondering if any of you fellow boxers received any injuries and have you recovered 100%?

I know what your talking about . I fell pain as well on the elbows when I fully extend it. When shadow boxing I think you should only extend about 80 percent , plus it's not really supposed to be for power punching , it's for accuracy supposedly .Ricky Hatton can't fully extend one of his arms at the elbow either, thats probably just wear and tear .

Try using a couple of small hand sized weights for power.Alabaster eggs are supposed to be good . I'm going to try a couple of fishing weights .

oh man, I had a similar injury in my right arm too. It will heal up, you just gotta give it a rest(no training with it) and stretch it out constantly. I forgot how long it took me to heal though. It was quite a while but its 100% now.

its been almost a month since this accident, my right elbow/lower joint area is still sore and I can't throw it with as much power and snap and as did before, I'm scared now. If my right hand goes, then I will no longer box.
