  • Anybody is or was sick and still trained?

    I got a cold and runny nose and thinking about training today? this is gonna be my second day out and i feel like training and sparring today. My sickness isnt that severe thou.

    Does anybody go and train when there still sick? What do u guys think? Or what about running?

      if your properly ill then dont train but a cold shouldnt stop you.

        i had a 101 fever wednesday and i got some kind of throat virus i havent been to the gym since tuesday

          Train at home by yourself (run and do other cardio if you don't have any bags or anything). Don't go to the gym sniffing and sneezing and get a bunch of your training partners sick.

            i trained and fight 2 amatuer games in a week with a cold then on the next week i didn't fight and train because i had my tonsil and nasal swollen and gotten a fever so i was out.
            But if only a cold make sure not to get over fatigue because your immune system will weaken and your cold will get worse like what happened to me but i don't know for you because me im a sickly person i get sick easily.

                if you train at a gym, please do your gym friends a favor and dont show up, you can get them sick. it annoys me when someone shows up sick, because it gives a chance for it to spread.

                my trainer always told me not to train while sick because the body will take longer to get better. he told me something about how when you train, blood is used as a gateway for air and nutrients to get to your muscles. well when battling sickness, its also a gateway for any anti-bodies. so i guess if you train, the body is going to be doing two things at once, when it should focus on just attacking the virus
