    Right on.

Your problem is that you think too much, HAVE FUN my dude! The more you spar the better you get, simple as that. Since outboxing people is your forte, focus on just landing shots and moving, don't try anything spectacular just get used to being in the ring. Also, try convincing your trainer to let you spar against guys you can beat, that always helps. Don't quit, you'll get to a point where all you want to do is just spar.

No wonder youre nervous then if you've only sparred a couple of times. If you've trained 9-10 months and only sparred 5 or 6 times theres either something up with the coach or something up with you. You'll be ok when you get used to it.

just do it more often, i started sparing at 14 and now turned 16 and i started sparring guys btw 20-30 bigger, faster, stronger ect but the more u do it itll just be routine, and u wont think bout much. butterflies are natural if u get them before sparring, i still do but it doesnt stop me
        good luck

so if your gonna just come in here and say " just quit " or flame just get the **** out and stop wasting your time

ok so here is a list

          1. I get really nervous like during the week I think about it and Im like ok Im not scared but when my trainer puts me in there I just get nervous and don't think.

          2. I often put my head down when I spar and just get beat up on, I know your never supose to take your eyes of your target but when I get punched my eyes get all watery and red and such.

          3. When I get in there how do I work with somebody? I always end up getting in there with somebody at least 15-30lb heavier then me. I just go in there and box them ( thats my specialty xD ) but it always seems like there just beating my ass no matter how hard I hit them.

          ok post away guys
1)I used to get nervous if I knew I was going to have to spar one of the heavyweights at the gym (I'm light middle xD). The way I dealt with it was by studying the last couple hours before I hit the gym. Id just fight to keep my concentration away from boxing.

2)This might sound ****ish but it isnt meant to be, keep your eyes on them and you wont get hit as much, youll be able to cover up/counter/move. One thing I never see new guys do is practice covering up (properly) by itself and after combinations and they usually get hit alot.

3)You could ask them (after normal sparring of course) if theyd throw certain combinations at you while you block and try to counter.
