Kostya does nothing but calisthenics besides his usual roadwork and boxing exercises.....
He stated some of the things he does in his training in an interview a good while back and it was bodyweight exercises.

Kostya Tszyu actually does a bit more than just calisthenics for training. He makes extensive use of Russian kettlebells using a variety of exercises.Look at the link below for the full interview he conducted last year:

I saw a documentary about Tszyu a few years ago and it showed him doing a bunch of different calisthenics in a circuit, one of which was burpees.Sounds like he does some of the more productive exercises.

Awesome, thanks....That Kettlebell technique was discussed widely across the board and praised, seems to be a russian thing though and pretty rough.

I use a few different sets of kettlebells, and aside from the thicker handle and displacement of weight, they really aren't that different from dumbells. If you want to get "rough" in your strength and conditoning, then fill up a duffel bag with 100+ pounds of loose playground sand and do a few sets of clean and presses, shouldering, bearhug walks or lift and load drills.Beats the hell out of barbells any day and it's good for building strength in the clinch.

i live in australia and i rememeber i once saw kostya sharing the way he works his legs out. From memory, He doesn't involve weights as he says "he wants speed rather then power." And so he only uses his own body weight, but does ALOT of repetitions. Alot of his leg-workouts are very basic ( Skipping with a heavy rope, skipping with a light rope, short sprints, squats, etc.)

you see him train on his dvd destiny. he does the wackest exercises. nebody seen the one where he wears a headband wit a elastic band with a tennis ball at the end of it and continuesly puches at it for accuracy. heaps of neck exercises. he does his situps with his legs straight up in the air and touches his toes. he regards his training regime as 8 hours of hell a day.
