why do most boxers shave their legs??

this is a repost... I accidentally posted this in the video sharing lounge

I've noticed that the majority of boxers shave their legs.. both pro and amateur.
I was wondering why? Is there any added benefit? I know why cyclists and swimmers do it but I just can't think of why I boxer would? I don't shave mine but I see a lot of other fighters do. Is it something I should be doing?
I imagine I would probably feel naked walking around with bare legs though.
