Why some boxers look really, really good when they shadowboxing and hit the bag but they don't look that good in sparring? It's because not enough self confidence or lack of experience or something like that?

    Sorry for the bad english.

I mean, i know it's not the same shadowboxing and hitting a bag to sparring but it's ridiculous the difference when they sparring.

or maybe they dont know what they are doing while shadowboxing/hitting the bag?
do they actually step in and out, keep they guard up etc?

Sparring is the practical application to training. Hitting the pad, the bag, shadowboxing etc. is all preamble to sparring itself.

It's harder to look pretty when someone's punching you in the face. A lot of it has to do with adrenaline. Who doesn't get that rush when they're in a fight?

Yes. But there are alot of people out there like that. So don't judge fighters how pretty they look hitting a speed bag. Watch them move around the ring, that'll tell you a story.

Yes, they do, and they look really good at it.
