Hand Wraps and tape!

They use the same bandages and boxing tape as they do duruing fights. Not all pro's do this though, as not all have so much in funds! It will cost you around €10 a day in material, and you probably need someone else to help you too. My uncles company sponsorship pays for the materials (and other training stuff) and I got a Joey who carries my bag and has a first aid certificate, so he wraps my hands lol. If you can't box it off like I did then I have seen bigger pro's with large hands use two sets of wraps as well. They put the Mexican wraps underneath and standard ones on top. Sometimes they wear knuckle guards (or a sponge) too.Comment

Guaze and tape wraps provide more protection for the hands/wrists than regular handwraps.
Unfortunately all that guaze and tape is expensive and it takes alot longer to have your hands wrapped so it's really only realistic for high level pros to get their hands wrapped with guaze and tape before every workout.Comment

Yes, but make sure at least one of them are of the mexican stretchy variety. Sometimes if a bone is broken/fractured or weak from before, the solid wraps can push it in and make it more painful. mexican wraps mould to shape of hand alot better. I use two sets of mexican wraps when I do not use gauze/tape and it makes a huge difference. Keeping Gauzxe handy for big sparring contests is wise, as well as using the tape around the wrist area even when you do not use gauze.Comment
