sometimes when im going hard i get lightheaded and feel like im about to blow chunks man and i gotta go sit down. like when im sprinting or doing intense padwork or something what the hell can i do to avoid it and what is it? also how can i center myself and get through it?
Make sure you are not working out intensely right after you eat! Eat carbs and some fruit a minimum 3 hours before your workout. When you eat, all of your blood goes to your stomach to help you digest. When you work out intensely without giving enough time, all the blood is forced out of your stomach very quickly and into the body parts that need it. Your body gets confused and thats why you get light headed and feel like throwing up.
To get over it, you need to keep moving... jog in place, breathe easy. If you need to eat something and you are within your 3 hour minimum, eat something light like a piece of toast or a banana.
