Gloves for beginners

Hey ,

So my brother and I are starting to take up boxing as a hobby, I'd like some advice on which gloves to get for bag work.

My brother is a guitarist and so good hand protection is a must, price doesn't really matter.

I on the otherhand have a budget of £50ish.

At the moment he is looking as winning or reyes gloves so if anyone could recommend through experience I would be very grateful.

what is the diff between the velcro gloves and the soft type gloves, as it states both are for training.

For your brother, defo Reyes as they are a cut above. If he has small hands though some Grant's will give more cushioning. For yourself Twins are the only decent gloves within the budget range.
