Two times a week here, but like JulioCesarChavez said, pad work can be just as good, i usually get 3-4 sessions of padwork in a week. My trainer is trying to push me to start fighting again so i get lots of attention.
we have lax sparring sessions 2-3 times per week then we goto other gyms to spar. this can get pretty intense because no one thats serious in boxing wants to embrass themselves by loosing, i even saw a few buddies get knocked out, which I think is over doing it a bit.
