Breidis Prescott overhand right or right cross?

Was the punch Breidis Prescott threw before the left hook that put Khan to the canvas a right cross or overhand right? If anyone could tell me I would appreciate it, thanks.

Here is the link to the vid:

That is anything but a straight right. A straight right is just that, STRAIGHT.

yeah an overhand is a different punch, although some fighters seem to favor it almost exclusively over a real straight punch. learn how to throw both, dont throw the overhand too often its slow and leaves you off balance.

I know it's not a straight right. So you would indeed classify it as an overhand right?
        Thanks for the responses!

Believe it or not, he is not the first person who used it! You probably started watching boxing after Khan's medal, which is not a bad thing. Watch some more and you will see it being used alot. I like to use it on people who have a high guard. Watch and learn, and then practice. It is easy to get in and is good when followed wiht a left hook as you saw!

Thanks, I needed that. I appreciate you sharing that knowledge.
I have been watching boxing way before Khan though.

I wouldn't even call that an overhand right. More like a haymaker.
